Drain repairs we handle
Underground drainage fails slowly and out of sight. By the time it shows up as a repeated blockage or a smell, there is usually a defect in the pipe that clearing alone will not solve.
What actually goes wrong
Cracked or fractured sections, joints that have opened up as ground has settled, sections that have collapsed under load, roots that have found a way in at a joint and grown to fill the pipe, and runs laid with too little fall so solids never clear. Each needs a different repair, which is why we survey before quoting.
Survey first, then a fixed plan
A camera survey shows the defect, its position and its depth, so the repair can be planned rather than guessed at. That also tells you whether the problem is on your private drainage or on a shared or public sewer, which changes who is responsible for putting it right. We will tell you if it is not your bill to pay.
How the repair is carried out
Depending on the defect and its depth that may mean excavating and replacing a section, or a no-dig repair from inside the pipe where the run is otherwise sound. We explain the options and what each involves in terms of disruption to drives, paths and gardens, and the reinstatement is included in the quotation rather than left as an afterthought.
